STARWING RADIO DestinationDawn and Friends
I began playing keyboards at age 7 and performed solo in school plays, later putting a small band together.
At 14, I began singing and composing and started my first band!
I played and sang with two more bands until the age of 23. At which point music as a career took a back seat while I raised my children.
Due to a serious accident in 1994, I retired from mainstream work and began my return to music. I had serious cervical spinal injuries which necessitated five spinal surgeries, and was told by several doctors that I would never sing again. With dedication, commitment, and passion, I have overcome the difficulties. With assistance and encouragement from my vocal coaches, and close friends, Jaime Vendera, Robert Lunte, and Hilary Canto, my singing abilities have exceeded my expectations. A sincere Thank You to all of you !
In 2007 I began to pursue singing and playing keyboards again. Now I am in the process of putting a new band together, although currently I’m a solo artist, and make guest appearances, mostly vocal performances, with other bands.
I have been composing songs throughout my whole life and am seeking to get these songs actually published/performed.
My music and vocal dedication has led me to various websites and I have formed a dedicated partnership with The Modern Vocalist (TMV), and am the Director of Community Development of TMV. http://www.themodernvocalist.com/profile/AdolphNamlik
